Thank Goodness For This Info, I Almost Had TL

Wow, I'm in shock. Had a appt. lined up for next week to start the TL thing rolling. I will not be having that done, ever!! Cancelled the appt. today. I asked the nurse about all I had read and all she said she ever heard about was women having heavy periods afterward. Won't even send the hubby for a V either. Too much being said on that now and cancer. We have 2 kids and just had a big pregnancy scare, not really scare but we're done building our family. Just wanted to make sure no more babies would be popping up unexpected. Thought TL would be the best bet since I've delivered children and couldn't be any worse pain then that. I decided to look up on the net TL and see if I could find anything. Thank heavens for this website. My sister had a TL done about 6 years ago. She said no problems for her. I guess some have them and some don't. I don't care to gamble with that at all. I would like to stay the same that I am now. I will continue to take my basal temp and remain natural as God intended. I will pray for all of you out there that have to live with the pains a troubles you do. Thank you all for your messages. It was a God send for me. I really would have went through with it without this website I'm sure. I will tell everyone I know about this. I will spread the word to save someone else like myself from making a big mistake.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
