What Doctor Said!!!!!

by

I went to a new doctor on the 20th. I was hoping I would get some answers, was I wrong. I ask to be tested for the hormones I was told too. As many can guess, I was told that many women on the web believe highly in this syndrome. She did manage to run some blood work. I should be getting the results in a few days. She also made me feel like a fool. I have been gaining weight for some reason lately, I was told I need to see a nutritionist and change my eating habits. I have not chnaged in any way that I eat. I took a copy of my symptoms with me which are about 14 out of the list I got from this site. She said that these could be from other problems. Yes, they could be, but no one has found them to be linked to anything. I am so fustrated with doctors. I am really upset, I do not know where else to turn or who I should go and see that will get to the bottom of this. She did want me to go on the pill. But, I am 35 and a smoker so of course that was a no no. I hope that someone can relay back to me and have someone i can talk too.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
