JUST VENTING!

by

Hello ladies, it has been awhile since I have posted on here. Some of you know my story and some of you don't. This last month has been hard. As some of you know I found out in March that my estrogen levels were very low, and that suggested that along with the symptoms that I have that I am in early menopause. I was put on the BCP, tried it for about two months. But the side effects were awful, I was weepy, moody, more than usual, my breast were swollen, and hurt. I quit taking those and thought okay I will try to do this the natural way. I started taking evening primrose oil, Estroven, and Black Cohosh Root, but that has not helped. The evening primrose oil has helped with the breast tenderness and the bloating, but the emotional problems, no luck. So, now I am trying to decide what to do next. I have to do something, some days are worse than others, I cry for nothing, or I get mad over the smallest thing, one minute I can be okay, then the next minute I am full of rage and anger, and I worry that I am going to lose control. But I try to calm myself and tell myself that I know what is wrong, my hormones are all out of whack and I just try to go with the flow. And like I said some days are worse than others. I went to another Dr. last week for my yearly pelvic exam, and to see about hormones and she wants to put me on BCP because of my age. She said she does not feel that HRT would be good for me. So , I don't know what to do. Anyway, any suggestions out there please let me know.
Sincerely,
Nicole

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
