Response to Creer... |
| is what I read on the other sites. Sounds as if he saw the writing on the wall (the emergence of T. Poole; Brown & Aku on the way), as well as he wouldn't/couldn't keep up with the new system. I wish him well, but like I said before, better to get rid of the "deadweight" now.
Again, from what I have read, our real weakness' are, in order,
1. QB - Crompton still has too many exchange bobbles, int, fumbles, etc. Hopefully he will continue to work on this thru the summer. I hope he understands this is his moment, if not bring on BJ., I think Stephens is too far behind.
2. OL pass protection - although our run blocking sounds very good, again if we can limit miscues, we can have a ball control offense this year and be all right.
3. LB's - we may not have as atheletic a group as we would like (ie Little, Wilson, etc) it sounds as if they play with heart and intensity, great qualities that sometimes overcomes lack of ability.
I expect a PHYSICAL low scoring affair in the Stink Hole:
UT - 21
UF - 20
Historically, the team that has the most running yards, wins this game, Advantage TN.
