We were thinking about going to see a movie ("Whale Rider", a NZ film), but neither of us could get motivated enough (and I would have missed the party!).
Yesterday was pretty busy though - we went into town, and I bought some printer labels for making labels for my Bookcrossing books (I had just printed them out on plain paper and was gluing them into the books, but that was getting too messy), and some shiny holographic label stuff for making eye-catching stickers to put on the outside, and then we did a trawl of the second hand record shops (for H), and second hand book shops (for me), and ended up with another huge pile of books, most of which I'll read and then release through Bookcrossing, but some of which are permanent acquisitions (so much for this Bookcrossing thing being good for emptying your bookshelves - mine seem to be getting even fuller!), and then, after a stop at the supermarket for some vegetables, we came home and I spent the rest of the afternoon registering and labelling all my new books. I like having a new hobby to get all obsessive about!!!
