Sometimes I like trying out new recipes.
Last week I tried a new dish called "Asian Style Chicken Noodle Soup", which I got from a local magazine. It was under "cold and flu foods" and the broth had garlic and ginger, and then you added radishes, spinach and mint leave afterwards. I messed up the noodles, because I'd never cooked fresh pasta before, but I'll know better for next time.
Today I made a "chicken divan" in the crock pot. Basically, it's chicken on broccoli florets (I added some of the stems, too.) with a creamy sauce that has some Parmesan cheese in it. It turned out
really good. I had it on rice. And I have four portions to freeze and take to work.
Tomorrow I'm making shepherd's pie to freeze and take to work as needed. My aunt gave me the recipe and it's a really simple and good one.
Do you guys like cooking/trying out stuff?
