So my brother announced that he decided to graduate next term instead of this one, which put my mother in an uproar (although I can't fathom the reason for that).
When I give my two cents and say that he would know what's best for him, she turns to me and says "And since we are on the subject, how about your plans to move to Canada?"

I must say, though, that it sounds rather like your mother is anxious for you to move half a globe away. That surprises me, a bit.

She wants me out of the house, for one. But she'd rather not have me that far away on the other hand.
But she feels like I'm procrastinating (which I am!) and that annoys her.
But then, she does the same thing.
And they'd be moving away soon anyway, to where my grandmother lives. They've bought a house there and all.
