Yes, does this make you the north star?
|January 10 2004, 11:15 PM |
We've always looked for you to the south!

You realise they're going to have to rewrite all the star charts now?

I will have to ask the Canadian Astronomical Commission.

How did your move go?
|January 12 2004, 9:44 PM |
Did they lose any packages?
I don`t know that yet.

The packages start arriving in a month. Then I can start counting.
At least they didn't lose any suitcases or Minka.
That's the important part

Right you are!!

Plus, I have every box inventoried and I have postal receipts for all of them. I don't plan to lose anything.
you are SO organized!

Impressive. So, what do you think so far about your Big Move?
It's cold here.

Which has basically kept me indoors for the last two days.
The car wouldn't even start yesterday because there seems to have been some frozen condensation clogging the gas pipes.
But my uncle is out and about today. And I got my insurance for the period when I'm not covered by the provincial health insurance.
Now I need a driver's licence, and once I have a credit card, I'll get on with getting a US visa.
Inventories are a good move

When we moved from the UK, our boxes got here minus a few items, but because we'd only done a basic inventory for customs and not listed every single item individually, we couldn't prove anything. But we remembered packing the stuff that disappeared (some CDs and videos).
All my boxes arrived.

They started arriving a week ago and the last one made it here today.
