Finally!

We got about 10cm of snow yesterday. Everything looks pretty and wintery now.

It's not as dark in the evening either. Unfortunately, most people already took down their Christmas lights.

Hopefully there'll be more snow between now and the Winterlude. And it will stay cold so that the Canal freezes and the ice sculptures don't melt.

....I have read. But in fact it is pretty warm here.

They said they might have a section of the Canal open for February 2, but that's all their saying so far.

It should stay wintery enough, though.

Winter is much nicer (and more bearable) with snow on the ground.
