I'd probably dislike him, if I had to play against him. If I was Gaborik, I'd be happy to club him over the head about now. Like a good goon, the more other teams hate him, the better he's doing his job.
Speaking of goons, and mini-goons, Tootoo was taking some early runs at people again last night. The play of the night, which I'm sure is up on youtube or nhl.com by now, featured Toots trying to lay a big hit on Dats, except he got fed Pavel's shoulder-pad, and then Dats continued down the ice to feed the puck to Kopecky for the first goal. I enjoyed that more than Filppula's penalty-shot goal, which was a pretty standard deke, though very slickly performed.
