I didn't think a first round could live up to last year's. But this year has lived up to expectations.
I'm not really into the Washington-New York and Philadelphia-Buffalo series. I mean, I feel really bad that the hard working Rangers were done in by Gaborik - what a bonehead! The Philly-Buffalo series is really boring and tame.
And I should have learned by now to not bet against Detroit. I watched my three Coyote picks fizzle away.
I might start getting interested in the Vancouver-Chicago series; that would be quite the comeback. I'd love to shut up those Canuck fans.
I'm rooting for Pittsburgh, even with Roli standing on his head. I have a lot of money (4 picks) on them; go Pens! It seems like a lopsided series though.
San Jose-Los Angeles... awesome, LA is much better than everybody gave them credit for.
Nashville-Anaheim... awesome, will hard work be enough to contain red hot Perry?
Montreal-Boston... AWESOME!!! Just flat out exciting and crazy fun.
There are going to be four 7-game wars at least this year. Oh man, I can't wait for next week!
