.....I don't doubt the talking heads, but it's clear you cannot understand the meaning from what they are saying. Murray had his "Time Out" left, and I agree, he should have used it...and that's exactly what the talking heads are saying. However, that's not the same thing as having the "last change"...which is what you said, which is incorrect, no matter how you slice, dice and make julienne fries with it. You are WRONG! Murray did not have the last change, because that is reserved for the HOME TEAM!
.....In your lack of objectivity, you are fixated on Murray's mistake of not
calling his timeout, but the real problem here is, Jack Nicholson....I mean,
Lindy Ruff ordered the "Code Red" attacks on the Sens players by his goon squad, an attack that was going to happen regardless of whether Murray called the timeout. You want to talk about gutless, and ignoring "The Code"...the fact of the matter is, "The Code" dictated that Peters, or Mair (insert Sabres goon's name here) go after Neil, the initiator of that good, clean and legal hit on second liner Chris Drury...even if they had to wait the two minutes or less for Neil to serve his penalty. Instead, these no-talent goons chose to take the easy way out by going after the skilled players instead of having to fight Neil. And we all saw what happened when Mair fought Neil...Mair was completely pummelled...D'
