.....It's too bad, like you, I was expecting a lot more from the Senators. And as you already stated, that's not taking anything away from the Ducks, they've played great, but the Senators haven't put up much of a fight, even if the games were close. Maybe the Ducks really are THAT good, and the Sens simply can't get anything going...or the Sens just haven't played very good, I don't know...more than likely a combination of both.
.....And contrary to the sore-loser Sabres fan on the board, Alfredsson did not cause the Senators to lose Game 4, even though what he did still makes me wonder what the hell he was thinking. You've identified one of the two biggest problems with the Sens in the Finals, that being Redden. And you could go so far as to put in the entire blue line, they've looked extremely ordinary the past 4 games. The other problem I see is a team that just can't generate any offense, from anyone. The Sens scored a lot of goals leading up to the Finals, right now though, it's like they can't buy a goal...D'
