My sweet 16 is in Jan. too and I am going to have like a winter wonderland. You can use like white christmas lights to decorate ( which most ppl already have so that would save $) and you could get like "Snow" (cotton, maybe...or if you can afford like a snow blower/maker) anyhow..Hope it helps
