I need ideas for my 18th birthday party. I was thinking of hiring a hall & DJ but it seems like everyone does that. Its in november so it cant be anything outdoors. I think i'll be inviting about 50+ people & some of them will be people i dont know too well. I want it to be fun but not childish/lame/tacky.

my 18th is at the end of this month and i'm inviting 35 people-we're having a sit down buffet and then turning the living room into the 'disco room' - i was going to hire a DJ but instead i can hook my stereo up to a huge amp that's normally used for the bass guitar. i think (hope) it'll be cool. i've made the dress code smart, but i've been to a few parties where the code has been Red, White and Blue / dress as something beginning with the letter P (a P party), dress as a celebrity/disney character / tarts and tramps etc.... i always find them really fun and every1 gets really excited about what they're gonna wear. u could also make it a 70's night where all the music is really cheesy, that always goes down well! good luck! toni xx

I Think You
Should Invite 20 or less friends to your party and you will get alot of money from the cards and let 3 stay over to spend the night and go to the movies

For my 18th birthday party, I am using a Prom theme. All the girls are going to show up in their prom dresses. How many times do you actually wear those things anyway, so why not put them to good use. Guys can wear suits, or tuxes, something that looks nice. Dates, or no dates, it doesn't matter. There will be lots of dancing, and lots of fun. Everyone loves the idea, especially the girls!
