HI! We are in the same boat as you are. We're having a Valentine's Party on the 8th, too. You can make candles or watch movies and eat lots of junk food. You can also paint ceramics. Hope you have a fun time! Good Luck!
P.S. We were also thinking about going to the mall and giving each person say, 5 or 10 dollars and seeing which person can buy the most things/items/objects, or you could give them less money if you want!

When I was your age, we went to the old Pharmacy and got milkshakes and fries. All my girlfriends and I would gossip about the Young Men in our town. That sure brings back old memories. Ahhh, how they linger.
Well little missy, I hope that helps you yung'un.

For Kelsey's b-day last year, we went to Wendy's. We tied a birthday hat on her and we played pin the tail on the donkey. She loved every minute of it! Why don't you go to Burger King? There's a Play Place there! You and your friends will have fun! Steer clear of the slides though. You might not be able to get out! Happy Birthday!! Oh, and your guests should bring you lots of presents. Be greedy!! That's how my Kelsey was!

It was total humiliation. Don't try it. Ever. Especially the hat. It was pink and had barbie and ken kissing on it. The donkey was actually a pig. My mom is sooo embarrasing! We can't take her anywhere anymore. Well, gotta go. Mom's planning my next birthday. It's tomorrow. Oh joy.

CALM DOWN!!!!

ok first you need to chill out. there's tons of stuff you can do and you've still got a week to plan it. for food, you have to get lots of junk! i always get at least two bags of chips(find out what your friends like then get the most popular) make sure you get caffine. it doesn't have to be mountain dew, it could be one of those cheap generic types. if they're going to be there for supper, pizza is a great idea. if you don't want to spend money on a pizza tell everyone to eat supper before they come. o course they should bring presents! what kind of birthday party doesn't have presents! oh you should probably buy or make a cake too. movies are a definate yes! they're good for 2 things: (1) if your friends start to get bored pop in a movie. then afterwards you can start talking about how hot one of the guys in the movie were. (2) if you're parents get mad about everyone staying awake when they're trying to sleep, a movie usually calms everyone down. I usually get 3 movies, a horror and 2 comedys. karioki is always fun. split into groups and make up dances to songs. then have your mom or someone be the judge. you might wanna have everyone do each others makeovers before the contest. an alltime favorite of every girl is truth or dare. make sure you get some really good (and a little disgusting) dares and truths. that way it's more interesting. if you have a magic 8 ball or one of your friends does, have them bring it and when you get told a dare or asked a question, shake the 8 ball. if it says yes, you have to do it. if it says no, then you don't have to. if it says something like unsure or ask again later, then the person with the 8 ball can pick anyone else in the group to do the dare or answer the question. i hope this helped but if you want more great games and themes go to google and type in birthday party ideas for teenage girls. it'll give you tons of sites. happy birthday!!!

I think that your ideas were great! We do alot of those same things at our parties and they always work out and everyone gets no sleep, but lots of fun. Kim should try them out.

My daughter is having her 13th birthday party the same day. She invited a group of girls over for a sleepover and they're doing make-up, renting movies, making tacos for dinner and ice cream sundaes for dessert. They will probably do some singing along with cd's--they used to dress up in old costumes and video tape eachother's performances and laugh alot while watching the playback--but I don't know if they've outgrown that--we'll see on the 8th! Other fun things they do on regular sleepover (meaning ones on weekends with just a few kids) is play games like Pictionary, Brainquest or Taboo. If you have a fireplace and your parents are alright with the idea, my daughter and her friends make smoors. Later in the night when everyone is winding down they sometimes do manicures and pedicures.
