I'm working on a birhtday party for my twins who are turning 2. They love the Disney TV show "The Wiggles". Does anyone have decorating ideas and games. The ages of the party guests range from 2 - 7.

here's a cute online store site (fyi - it's one that doesn't allow a "back browser button", you have to start your previous search from scratch).
http://www.tystoybox.com/instructionstop.htm

also, another mom from another message board writes:

[I have some ideas to share with others:

1. I found all the party stuff on Ebay: plates, napkins, blowers, hats, tablecloth. Also found some unique party favors there: the Wiggles Mini books, Wiggles bubbles, Wiggles temporary Tattoos, and Wiggles candy wrappers.

2. For activities, we are going to give each child (only 5 attending) plain t-shirts & tape the Wiggles logo on it, so they can dress up like the Wiggles. Then we'll do some of the dances, I think Hot Potato & play Freeze Dance to Wiggly Party or Dorothy's Dance Party.

3. We'll also play pin the tail on Dorothy

4. and my favorite idea: find Captain Feathersword's treasure. I'm going to use the colour-in printout from the Wiggles website of the Captain, print out 6 of them on different colors, and do a treasure hunt. Color coded clues like "To find the Captain's treasure, you won't have to dig in the dirt, Just find the next clue, same color as Jeff's shirt", and the kids look for a purple clue. Then "The captain left another note, and this is what it said:
Wiggle your way to living room, me hearties, find the clue that's RED" and so on. The treasure will be a treasure chest filled with their goody bags.

5. My husband will wear a purple shirt, pretending to be Jeff, and periodically fall asleep during the party, so the kids can all yell, "Wake Up Jeff!"]

Great Wiggly Day

The party went great. I never found plates etc. but I did make featherswords. I got paint stirers from a hardware store, wooden rolling pin cut outs from Michael's. Glued the wood cut outs half way up the paint stirer to look like the handle of the sword. Wrapped the end of the sword(the part the kids hold) in red Wraphia, also purchased from Michael's. Glued Ostrich feathers to the tip of the sword- just past the handle. Used brown Wraphia to cover the spine of the feathers. I wrote the kid's names on the handles. I bought felt pirate hats from Oriental Trading Company and glued a feather to each hat. My husband made the Good ship feathersword. I used blue, red, yellow and purple plastic table clothes for the 4 tables. Drapped fish net over the tables and added seashell and plastic sea creatures. We had a treasure hunt game. Each child had to find their treasure box(2 gold coins and 2 dollar bill were inside). You can check out the pictures @ picturecenter.kodak.com If you can't find the pictures send me an e-mail.
