My little sister (by one year) is turning 12 in two weeks. Kim, my little sister, asked me to write to all of you and ask for advice on her birthday party. It's going to be like mine (which I'm still looking for ideas!). She is going to have ten of her friends (all girls) come over. We have a pool and a fire pit out back in our yard. They are going to come over around 6 and stay until 8:30. Then five girls are going to spend the night at our house. We need games to play. She LOVES music and dancing, oh and she loves taking pictures! We already have ideas for food so don't give us any ideas there but we need stuff to do and decorating tips. She wants this party to be her best one ever because these are her closest friends and next year she will be in middle school and may have different friends. Thanks.

If she likes make-up and stuff like that, then you could do facials and make overs. They could paint each others nails and do each others hair. They could also get all dressen up and then do a fashion show. You could have somebody call their names out and then they could come out a bedroom or something and walk down the hallway whle everybody is taking pictures. Music could be playing while they walk down the "runway". If you have any games at your house like , twister, perfection and other games lke that you could play those and whoever wins could get a prize such as a pack of gum and things like that. For decorating you could get streamers and hang them on the doorway to her bedroom and hang them off of the fan.You could drape them on the table and hang balloons everywhere! I hope this helps!

They could make up a dance then show it to everybody...like they were at a recital!

Hey! I got an idea. Since ur sis LOVES taking pics, buy her a i*zone cameras , that have those reawlly small pics and they can be stickers. THOS Are SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!! Trust me, I know!! LOL. The camera itself is bout 6 or 7 bucks. film is about 5 or 6 bucks for about 15 pics i think. So that could be ur early/late b dy present! SO MUCH FUN!

I am turning 12 In 2 weeks I am thinking about 2 or 3 ideas: Hawaiian, Sports ( one kind or all sports ), or a Makeover or if you want to call it a make-up party. If i would have the HAwaiian APrty I have this awesome book that you can oder online from www.orientaltrading.com , there is alot of games and decorations in there for that. For the sports party there is also alot of invitations and things like that: For games I am thinking that you could play like Basketball if you have a basketball hoop; be careful when people are shooting though if it hits off the backboard and hits somebody in the head it really hurts- Trust me that just happened to me today. For Decotations you can like make all the sport balls out of paper and color them like sport balls. For the make-up or makeover party I have thought that I could do like different stations like a manicure station with doing nails and i maybe thought that however we got we could but enoguh stuff for each kid to take home what they need to geive them a nice manicure again, the second station you could do a salon station and have somebody do each of the kids hair and then the next station you could a make-up station and if it is possible you can get like a representive from like MAry KAy or Avon; they can bring make-up samples. The next station could be a magazine station if it was up do me this would the 1st or 2nd station I would do the magazine station where it had like differet hair and make-up and nail tips. For games for that I forget what it is called but I have played this before it is like where you lay out all of you nail polishes in a big circle and have a pen and have each one take a turn spining the pen or whatever you use and what ever color nail polish you land on is the color you put on.
