For the invitations, make them resemble an airline ticket / boarding pass. At the top list the airline as AIR HAWAII and downloaded a comical sun wearing sunglasses for the airline's logo. have it say BOARDING PASS FOR CHILD'S NAME'S 4TH BIRTHDAY PARTY. list the date, flight #IAM3, the carrier (AIR HAWAII), the destination (our street address, Waikiki, Hawaii, arrival time(TIME OF PARTY), 1ST class, attire (Hawaiian)
supply grass skirts for the girls, beachcomber hats for the boys and leis for everyone, everyone drink from coconut cups (check oriental trading company for most of these supplies)
Games: pin the monkey on the palm tree, limbo, hula-hoop contest to see who could keep it going the longest, coconut bowling. roll the coconut down three pineapples make tropical drinks garnished with fresh fruit and tropical umbrellas after dinner while the kids take turns trying to break the sun pinata.
For the goody bags, clear bags with Hawaiian flowers on them and stuff them with sunglasses, mini-bubbles, lifesaver's tropical candies, snack size pineapple chunks, straws with flowers on them and a bag of macadamia nuts.
