My son will be 2 in July. He really likes Elmo and basketballs. I want to have Elmo on the cake holding a basketball. I need some creative ideas on what to do for his party. Thanks.

Hello, two years old is hard cause they are so little and their attention spand is very short. I teach dance to children that are 2 1/2 and it is not easy. You need a lot of little things to do and I would not have the party more than an hour to an hour and a half cause theyw ill all get cranky. I would have them color a picture of elmo when they get there. Watch a elmo video, dance to a fun action song from one of elmo's c.d's, eat, and maybe play ring a round the rosie, read a elmo book with a elmo puppet, and then I would call it a fun day before they get too cranky. Have fun :) Decorations wise there is tons of elmo stuff everywhere and for goodies you could find cheap elmo books and give every kid one :) Jessica

Hi, I though of another idea, you could also have them run through an elmos sprinkler and have fun playing in the water for a little while. Jessica
