I need to do a Woody themed party for a 2 year old boy. He likes the movie Toy Story, but only Woody, not Buzz. Any ideas?

Hello, I have a boy the same age. What I did was I had all 21 boys dress up wearing either a cowboy hat or a space helmet and no other clothing. They were basicly naked with helmets. Some boys braught leather helmets. You could ask them to all get your boy a buzz lightyear action fiqure.

umm..did u mean to say that they were naked..with nothing but cowboy hats..ok i know they are only two years old but still...

Anyway what you can do is ask the kids to come dressed in any kind of cowboy clothes they have. SOme might have a hat, some might just have boots, some might have the whole she-bang. And you can buy hats at the dollar store for the people that migght not have any cowboy stuff. or you can buy red bandanas and hand them out. Im really not sure what all activities you can do for a two year old though. Make a Woody coloring page off the internet and have them color. But im not sure of any games or anything

Game Ideas

I have a couple ideas as far as games go.

Buy some cheap sherriff stars, probably at the dollar store, and have the kids toss them into a cowboy hat.

Get a ring toss game and wrap rope around the rings so they can pretend they are lassos (sp??)

Get a poster of Woodie and buy some star stickers, or cut stars out of construction paper and use double sided tape, and pin the star badge on Woodie.

I'm not sure how many kids you are going to have, but maybe take a very basic coloring page picture of Woodie. Cut out the shapes and then cut the shapes out of colored or construction paper. Have a couple glue sticks out, and have the kids try and put Woodie together. It would be a pain if you had a lot of kids though.

With two year olds its better not to have games that win, but if you want to give out prizes its better to go with something you can give to every kid playing the game. You don't want to start a temper tandtrum cause one kid didn't get a prize or win anything.

Hope this helps.
Angie
