hey, happy early birthday!
food ideas and games
first food..
-puppy chow: it's really good everyone will love it
heres how to make it:
All you need is:

A large bowl (an CLEAN ice cream pail)
A microwave able bowl
A microwave
1 cup measuring cup
1/2 cup measuring cup
1/4 cup measuring cup
A teaspoon measuring spoon
A long instrument to stir

For the ingredients:

A box of Chex (any variety, but I prefer Corn)
One package (6 oz.) of Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
To make:

Pour 9 cups of Chex cereal into the pail, set it aside. Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine or butter in the microwave able bowl on high for 1 minute, then stir. Then microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in the vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over Chex cereal in pail, stir until all individual Chex are covered. Add powdered sugar to the Chex mixture, place lid on ice cream pail and shake. Check mixture to make sure that all pieces are evenly coated and they are ready to eat. Mixture may be hot and messy at this point, if desired, spread Chex mix on waxed paper too cool. This makes about 9 cups of puppy chow

if you dont want to have to make food then hotdogs, pizza, chips, pop, water, fruit, salsa and chips

games:
-you could do something along the lines of "Guess how many pieces of candy is in the jar" and who ever is the closet to the right amout gets to take home the candy and the jar..or you could find old jars around your house(make sure there clear) you could put buttons or beads or rice in them (this way you dont have to spend so how money on candy) and have your friends guess the amount of the buttons/beads/rice..and who ever is closet gets a prize, or maybe you could go out and buy a cheap bag of asorted candy (where i live we usually find them at paper warehouse or walgreens or wal-mart)
-neighborhood scavernger hunt: make a list of household items your friends could go looking for
-get around 3-5 disposable cameras..have lists already made of things your friends can take pictures of (ie: pine tree, a cloud that looks like a cow, certain color of mailbox) (you could make them worth different points) make sure you split everyone into teams..the team with the most points gets a prize

hope this helps, if you have any questions i'll check back later

Hey I'm thirteen and I am thinking of ideas too. Now you said that its co-ed, well go around school and ask people what they like to eat, maybe some pizza bagels. Then go to the boys and ask them what they like to do for parties and use some of their ideas for your party. A great idea for a co-ed party is a dance copotition and winner gets something. Put on some music and let them hit the dance floor.
