Planing this party should be really fun because there is ton of spongebob stuff you can get. I would definetly do a sponebob cake no matter what. It would also be cool to rent or buy some of the videos and have them playing in the background, and if you do you can pre-watch the tapes and make up a set of triva questions from the video and give out prizes. For example I have a pair of spongebob shoe laces and kids just love stuff like that, or if you are a good artist you can draw or paint a pin the pants on spongebob game making sure his hands are drawn in were they are needed. You know what I mean. Have fun and best of luck!!

The first idea that popped into my head was a "make your own spongebob" arts and craft idea!
Buy some cheap yellow sponges in bulk at sams or walmart and then get creative!
You could use googly eyes, brown felt, various things in the arts and crafts department, to allow the kids to make their own spongebob! If you need more help, just let me know i could get more specific LOL... well best of luck to you, and HAVE FUN!!

-Make sponge bob popsticles with orange juice ( you can get frozen kinds that look more orange ) or pine apple juice , and put the juice in popsticle trays that you an get easily for about 1.00 if you already dont have them at your local wal-mart... or dollar store, you camn buy edible food dec and decorate your popsticles.
-Give burgers at snacks, and make a sign as the kids enter the room that says " welcome to the crabby patty".
__SOME CRAFTS__
-get picture off of google images of all the sponge bob characters ( including gary =) ) and have the kids make their own puppets by using felt and other crafts at your nearest craft store ( around here it would be buck or two and dollar store ) and after a while once the felt has dried ( use glue to attach the materials ) have a puppet show **** you can also make masks ****
and i would suggest maybe making one more crat but not too many because you can play games!
____Games____
-Play musical Chairs, usew the sponge bob music , and decorate the chairs like sponge bob.
- duck duck goose.. gone sponge bobbed.. instead of saying " duck ... duck... duck.. and for the person who is it goose!" say " sponge.. sponge.. sponge.. bob!" and instead of running the have to bounce.
- another idea is a good idea if you have warm weather, you can use a yellow garbage bag ( a whole lot if you want the slide to be big ) and have a slip and slie game ... by putting the hose at the top og the bag and the children starting at the end of the bags and then they can have their own fun ...
- there is a game called murder, but for the age range, this game is not too appropriate, so i suggest you change the rules around a little.. instead of a killer there is a jelly fish ( only one ), and instead of a detective there is one patrick, only one. The rest of the children are sponge bob, and they are te victims.. Now how you play this game is... You make pieces of papers according to the number of kids, for example say there are 7 kids then in a hat you would have 7 pieces of paper, one of them would say " patrick" another one would say " jelly fish " and the rest would say "sponge bob(s) " The kids would randomly pick a piece of paper ( make sure they dont tell anyone what tey are ) or else the game would be ruined, so you explain to the kids that the jelly fish who ever he is has to try and tap all of the sponge bobs on the shoulder before 20 seconds in the dark pass, then patrick enters and he is supposed to find out who the jelly fish is, either by asking a sponge bob that is already alive ( that wasn't tapped ) or by guessing.. the sponge bobs who where tapped have to lay on the floor the one's who didn't have to stand. NOTE:: make sure that the jelly fish hides in a room, the sponge bobs who were not tapped can give descriptions of how the might slightly remeber the jelly fish...

t the end of everything give the kids little party bags, of course sponge bo, with a bunch of yellow candy and accesories...
