I want to give my daughter a party but want it to be fun, unique and rememberable. Does anyone have suggestions for a chinese party theme? Any other ideas for an 8th birthday party would also be appreciated. Got any ideas to share? Please let me in on what you've done!

i think this is a great idea!
you can buy inexpensive chinese lanterns and other chinese decorations. you can make homemade fortune cookies with personal messages in them. you can have the girls dress up in those silk robes(or substitute those with regular bathrobes and pain their faces white. you can eat chinese food on the floor with chopsticks. and then maybe watch mulan or something afterwards. Hope i helped!

oh and also you can use mulan decorations and play chinese music or music from the soundtrack... i kno mulan is kinda old and theyve probably all seen it but hey it was a great movie! lol
