My son had a monster truck party and I went online and found pics of monster trucks and downloaded them and used for the front of the invitations. I took a side view pic and used a overhead projector and drew a monster truck on a large cardboard and painted it with craft paint. I cut out the window so they could stick their head through and took digtal pics of each child. I then print them up with a saying on it "Derek's 4th Birthday" and it's a great party favor. Also at the time McDonalds's had monster trucks as toys in the happy meals. I collected some and put them in party bags with wistles and candy.

We rented a bouncy house that had a huge monster truck on top of it for my sons 5th birthday party. You might check with your local rental place. It was really huge and the kids loved it. I made the cake myself and decorated it with some of the Monster Jam trucks from WalMart. It was cute and my son kept the cars to play with later.

I was just looking for ideas on how to make a Monster Truck cake for my Son's 6th birthday coming up in early June. I saw you mentioned that your Hubby made a Monster Truck cake for your son. I just wondered if you had any advice or any pix of the cake that you guys made? Thanks,
Jennifer
