I am planning on having a new year's party on january 1. I am having about 6 friends and some family over. I still have to go out get some decorations..any recipe ideas?

I'm having a New Year's Eve Party this year & I found this dinner game called Stir Crazy for 4-20 people & it sounds like fun..

Make a game of making dinner with Stir Crazy™ – the dinner party-in-a-box that invites the guests to do the cooking. The host simply invites the guests and shops for the groceries listed in the game. Players split into two teams: Salt and Pepper. Each team is lead by an elected "Master Chef" who dons a paper chef's hat and supervises every facet of the meal. After spinning to divide all of the groceries provided, the timer is set, and the two teams compete to create the best appetizer, entree and dessert – without using cookbooks! Part of the fun is that each ingredient has to be used somehow.
After dining on the resulting culinary creations, everyone gets to vote on the best dish in each course. There's even a special award for "The Dish The Dog Wouldn't Eat". Contents include invitations, Host Guide, cassette tape with instructions and theme music, chef hats, disposable aprons, name tags and game spinner.
