I'm a young 34 year old Dad, with an older acting daughter turning 15 Feb 21st. Where would she want to go, or what does she want to do? I have her for the whole day. For music she likes Talib Kweli, Jay-Z, and she wears clothes from Abercrombie, and Pac Sun.

Dinner Idea

Have a fancy shmancy dinner at your house: invite a friend or two (or as many as you want or just your daughter) and have them all dress up. They can get dressed at your house or come dressed. Then, if you cook, cook something they might not normally eat and try to do some courses. If you don't cook, hit the frozen food section at your local grocery where they usually have frozen appetizers, dinners, desserts, etc. Make sure the dining room is lit with candles and has flowers. Have "grown up" music playing in the background. You can greet the guests with wine/champagne glasses filled with sparkling juice. Once dinner is done, let them just be kids again... watch a movie, listen to music, and just gab about dinner.

Thank you for your input. Yes I am a single Dad. We actually did do the one on one time. I took her shopping for half the day at the Mall. It was really lots of fun. Then we went out to eat at her favorite place. Then I gave her the main Birthday present from me, a cell phone. She was so excited. I had probably the best day with her I have ever had. ( aside from the day she was born ) I forget how hard it was growing up and being a kid. Thank you again.

Jimmy

i think you should take her shopping for the day and let her choose a few outfits that u can buy for her and then maybe out for dinner or maybe if any of her favourite singers r having a concert buy her tickets for that for her and a friend after you and her have spent time together
