Well I got some really great ideas from a post I made a while ago, but I have a problem! I was thinking about either a night at the hotel with a bunch of friends (boys and gurls), or a big party at my house (boys and gurls) with music, games, and movies. With NO supervision for either, but when I told my parents I wanted a party there ideas were kinda (well alot) different from mine... they thought that I should have a party at my house with a bunch of gurls. We would rent movies and stay up late... I really don't want that because I do that just about every weekend. I don't know how to tell them that I want a big party like my ideas up above...

Can anyone give me some ideas about how to tell them or talk to them about it?

i think i might be able to help you. i am turning 13 too. i had this problem when i turned 12. my parents thought i still wanted to play pin the tail on the donkey and stuff.

I told them nicely that i was going to be a pre-teen and that i don't really like those games any more. Tell them your ideas and if they have any comments let them say it. when your finished, you can work out all the details and things. they might probably have some questions so be prepared for quiestions. ummm... they might also disagree with some of your ideas so compromise with them.if they say no guys say half the guys, if they say 5 hour partie say 7 hour partie. stuff like that. be patient because like most parents they don't want to believe that they're little baby is growing up into a teen. So be patient and let them down gently. KK?
