I'm planning a hawaiian themed b-day party in early June for our 9-soon to be 10 yr. old daughter. I was very interested in the food fear factor idea!! The girls would love it!
However -- what food did you use? I'm hoping not much work goes into it. Did you give out prizes for the winners-- what was the process?
Thank you so much!

Tell your friends to weird hawaiian shirts or hula skirts (girls only of course!!) and leis. Make "Hawaiian" refreshments such as smoothies and exotic fruit samplers with fruits such as papaya, mango, and pineapple. If you can, have the party at a pool or a beach if you live somewhere warm. If there are girls at the party (is your party boys, girls, or coed?) they would enjoy learning the hula. You can also have a BBQ and just hang around and talk or play regular games like tag. Setting is everything, though, so decorate the party area with green crepe paper, umbrellas, plants, and fake palm trees.
