first of all you got to make sure everybody likes everybody the boy's like the girls the girls like the boys. then greet everybody at the door and if they havent been to you'r house show them to you'r room and tell them to make them self at home.then lead them to the food table always make sure you have a food table with pop chips and other goodies.then once evrybody is there about half an hour after the first person comes you can start playing games make sure you have diffrent things to do not everybody like the smae things.you can have music in the living room for dancing and games in you'r room unless you'r playing twister then you would want to do that in the living room. you can play spin the bottle or truth or dare or seven minutes in heaven it's where you and the person you like go in the closet for seven minutes and haved to kiss.or just play kiddie games if the guy or girl you like is there then ask him or her if they want to dance DON'T BE SHY YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO !
then once you'r bored make some pop-corn and watch a movie make sure they all like the movie.then after the movie eat some more food talk on the couch and have fun ! then after a while it should be time to go say goodbye to you'r friends and thank them for coming. and then the horrible truth you haft to clean up ! grrrr....

Make over party- do your hair, nails, give everyone a facial, make mirrors for invitations out of aluminum foil and card board
Carnival Party- do silly games like the push the peanut with your nose race etc, give peanut bag invitations, or ballon invitations, or just clown faces
Hollywood party- get a red towel and give awards for cutest pjs etc, charades, rent movies, put a big star on the room your going to be in that says V.I.F. (very important friends)
Astrology party- get some tarot cards, ouji boards etc
or just go out for dinner then go for some laser tag or something.
This year I am turning 13 as well. My birthday party, on the first of may, I am inviting 3 boys, and 2 girls and we are ordering pizza and hanging around in my basement then going to the movies and maybe bowling depending on when the movie ends and then the boys are going home and the girls are sleeping over and we are going to do whatever.

Hey I know you mite think this is too kiddie for you but a friend I know did this for her 14th and it was actually really cool. It's a tiki party and she outlined her yard in tiki torches. Have leis (those flower necklaces) ready to give all your guests when they arrive. Grass skirts are fun, too. Decorate a table with flowers and grass skirts and stuff and have food that goes along with the theme. Cardbard flip flops make good invitations. As far as games go, I'm not quite sure what you would do. Twister, although off the theme, is fu especialy if it's a co-ed party. Have hula hoop contest. Make drinks out of coconuts. It ends up being a really fun party no matter how old you're turing.
