what a blast! If i were planing this party, i would make sure to choose a smart, mature theme that would welcome the guests while still being really fun! maybe try the classic
red, yellow and blue ribbon streamers, ballons and conffeti or try something more creative like a music theme it doesnt have to be real expensive, just get streamers in black, white and gold and for a touch of "fame" use ballons that have stars printed on them. Game wise, you can play anything from childish games to more teenages games that raise the partys excitment! For a party that the rents look over the kiddies the whole time, stick with the wholesome fun games like:
Water Balloon Volleyball
You'll need lots of water balloons stored in a bucket full of water and towels for each pair of children. Divide children into two groups. Pair them off and give each pair a beach towel. One side begins by placing a water balloon in the center of their towel. Each child holds onto one two corners of the towel in their hands. The object is to toss the water balloon over the net with the opposing side catching the balloon in their towel. The volley continues until one side misses and the balloon breaks giving the other team a point. First team to 15 wins.
Variation: If you do not own a volleyball put two sets of pairs a distance apart and have them volley back and forth.
or
Acting challenge
Four people are chosen for the round and three of the four are taken out of the room. The one that remains is told to mime one of the following (or one of your own ideas) in approximately 20 seconds:
1. Changing the diapers of twins
2. Bathing an elephant
3. Jumping from a large tower into a huge bowl of Jello
Before they start, a second person is brought into the room and told to watch. When the first demonstration has been completed, the first person is allowed to retake their place and the third person is brought into the room. The second (who has just seen the demonstration) is told that they have to act out what they have just seen for the third person. After it's done, the fourth person enters and the scene is acted out again by the thired person. The games ends when the third person has done the mime, and the fourth person is asked what they have just seen. They get three guesses. Let the humor begin!
But, if you and the party can get in your own room, try "exciting" games like:
7 minutes in heaven, spin the bottle, truth or dare, or the kissing game where you turn all the lights in the room off and have all the boys line up on one side of the room and the girls on the other. each girl gos and kisses a boy in the room then gos back to their side of the room after the lights are back on, the boys have to guess which girl kissed him.
I really hoped this helped and if i didnt, tell me and i can come up with more ideas!

For my 14th birthday I had about some of my friends come over my house. It was movie star themed. They all came dressed up a there favorite character from a movie. When everyone got there we each got a pillowcase with permanent markers to write on them and sign eachothers (like autographs) as an icebreaker to get the party started. We made cookies out of our handprints, ate pizza, gave eachother massages, cake, presents, etc. When it was getting late, we got ready for bed, set out the sleeping bags and pillows and watched a movie, ate snacks, and talked. It was super fun. Hope I helped!
