I'm having a halloween party this year and my parents will only let me have 8 girls. I have to have this party planned by next week (before school starts) and I need to call the girls 2-3 weeks before the actual party so they can come prepared. They will arive at 5:30 on Saturday (the day before halloween since the real date is on a Sunday) and leave at 1:30 on Sunday. I will have them bring their costumes since I want to have a fashion show with our costumes. I need ideas for movies, food, and decorations. Since I am on a tight budget I will make most of the stuff at home. They will have dinner before they come and at 7:30 we will leave for a haunted corn maze. Would it be alright if I asked them to bring $10?

-i dont think its rite to ask them for 10 bucks- but maybe have each girl bring a bulk item of their favorite candy so you only have to buy one snack and everyone has their favorites.
-you should, besides having movies, tape re-runs of the adams family, the munsters, bewitched, etc. off tv land
-do a scary makover (in groups of 2) and the person making you over is blindfolded! then switch! have contests debating the scaryiest, best done, looks most like our most hated teacher, etc.
-4 the makeover have them bring there own make up if you dont want to buy new make up or if you have enough use your own
-glow in the dark nail polish
-for decorations use any old things- like an old broken window and make a hand come thru it or something,
- use black garbage bags, make long fringes in them and hang them above door ways
-be creative w/ an old thing lying in the garage or shed
- if you hav a strobe light- that adds cool effect. some are cheap at party city or party fair
-for comedy haloween movies:ghostbusters, young frankenstein, little shop of horrors, hocus pocus, abbott and costello movies
-for horror:excercist,rosemary's baby, audry rose,poltergeist
-hope you liked some of my ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!
