HI there, can anyone suggest a good inexpensive surprise for my girlfriend.
Unfortunately i am very unimaginative and she has recently told me her birthdays have been a bit disappointing as not one has ever been a big deal.
A weekend away is out of the question because of financial constraints.
We are going to be in her homw town but she shares her birthday with one of her friends so makes it hard to arrange something just for her when we are there.
Any ideas anyone?

Take her to her favourite restaurant in town and invite all the people she would want there (they can pay their own way) and surprise her there! You could get the wait staff to sing happy birthday with a cake and everything
