you could have a formal sort of party and hire out a hall and have bouncers and all of the people who are invited can get a gift eg. bracelet so they can get into the hall. The bouncer can also have a guest list
invite guys and girls.you should hire a dj and everyone can dance all night, have a big buffet table with a punchbowl and a few sofas so people can chill
get a parent or sibling to video tape the whole night and get your friends to leave you a bday message on the video camera
if you dont want it to be formal have a garage party and just play music and have ppl chill and eat and just do stuff and if you have a pool go swimming at night and maybe have a few people stay over for the night
