I am trying to make a volleyball cake for my birthday but am not sure how to do it. Does anybody have any suggestions?? I was thinking maybe a circle cake, frost it white and make the lines black but i also wanted to make a net but have no idea how to do that.

make a circle cake, frost it and then crush up biscuits and sprinkle them on top of the frosting so it looks like sand (beach volleyball? but up 2 licorice sticks at either side and maybe cut out a rectangle from a fishnet stocking and stick it to the licorice (staple sticky tape.. it doesn't matter no one likes licorice anyway :P) alternatively you could get someone at cake shop to make you like a chocolate wafer thing for the net get lego people, or plastic figurines and put them on top of the cake and you a gobstopper for the ball

wow that sounds cool i still need to think of what to do for my cake... hmm
