I'm turning 18 in a couple of months and I have no idea what to do. I don't like big parties or any parties where I have to sit around and mingle, so I need a place to go or an activity or something. I was thinking of something more chic in nature rather than a party-your-brains-out event, but all ideas are welcome. I'm looking for something to kind of top all of my previous birthdays, since 18 should be special. In the past I've had costume parties, murder-mystery themes, a hollywood party, carnival/beach parties, elegant/Frenchish themes, and even a submarine tour (though that was more on impulse). I've been considering an old theatre theme (depends on budget and if opera is still playing in the theatre I have in mind: opera=torture), an aviation theme (once again, depends on budget and how social I want the party to be- flying isn't a good idea for big groups), maybe a magic/circus theme (though the place I have in mind is expensive and exclusive, so probably not very practical either), etc. I'd be content if I found a neat nature park or secluded restaraunt or garden or something. I just don't know... Well, any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
