This school year, our students have been learning and reading about Abraham Lincoln in honor of his 200th Birthday. On the 12th of February, an Abraham Lincoln presenter will be here. I would also like to include various SIMPLE activities that can be done on announcements, send home goodie bags, etc.
My first question: The school dietician has agreed to plan an Abraham Lincoln themed Menu if I come up with suggestions. The only thing I have thought of is a sandwich called The Great Emancipator and something with the name "Lincoln Logs". Not great ideas, I know.
Just wondering if anyone out that has any wonderful ideas. My brain is not being creative right now. . .
