The message regarding the "evil" of D&D and RPGs is a complete and total crock of shit. As a 40+ individual who has played D&D off and on for nearly 30 years as well as a number of other RPGs, this "article" was obviously written by someone who is completely ignorant and illiterate when it comes to D&D, D&D players, and RPGs in general.
You reveal your ignorance and your true aims by one very clear thing - you cliam that most players play evil characters who gain power through evil means. This is simply not true of the vast majority of players and characters in these games. In point of fact, you reveal that your actual aim is to show that any powers or abilities which are remotely "spellcasting" or spell related must, somehow, be evil, inherently. This shows an ignorance of the games and the game's mechanics and the way the players think when playing these games.
I remember you and your organization. You and your ilk stirred up and pursued entire groups of people in the mid-80s over supposed satanic rituals and ritual abuse of children. It was later discovered that the children who made the original accusations had been coached by unscrupulous individuals and organizations such as yours.
You would just as soon burn books as read them and I openly despise you.
Keep this crock of shit to yourselves. You've stirred this particular pot long enough.
