| They did her biopsy today and she is hurting. She is whining quite a bit. They took 9 or 10 samples and they are quite raw since she won't leave the stitching alone. One already has come loose. Doctor says that is okay. She was sent home with an antibiotic that us human's just took off the market that treated Anthrax. It was doing something to human tendons. Isn't that nice to think of! We are going to have to wait for her biopsy results. We should know within a week. They also took blood for her thyroid test if the biopsy suggests to check that. Her sample is frozen until we know if they want to do it or not.
Doc said that when he put her under the microscope, he couldn't believe how bad her staph is. She is covered. Looking at her skin with the naked eye is deceptive. It is worse under the scope! Poor baby!
Her bill was $600 today. We won't know what the next step will be until biopsy results are in. Keep her in your prayers and any help with bills would be greatly appreciated with doberman911.org! They are suspecting some type of skin disease but we will know for sure in about a week.
