| It's one of my favorite pics. She's getting a hug from my son when he was 1 yr old. She so loved our babies. She's been big sister to 7 of them! (we are also a foster family). She was always so gentle and patient with them. They all loved her so. Case workers were always amazed at how wonderful she was. Funny thing tho....I still remember the first baby I brought home...she heard him cry and thought it was a squeeky toy and wanted me to throw it to her!LOL! I let her smell the blanket he had been wrapped in, then sat on the sofa and told her "Gentle Kalani, you have to be gentle, this is a baby not a toy. We must be gentle" She understood! She came up and gently rested her head at the bottom of his feet. From then on she was so gentle around them.

Martha, that is a beautiful picture of Kalani. What a sweet wonderful girl she was. God bless you and your family and may you meet Kalani again at the Bridge.
