winter ..
no bike riding nor running and in my case no bag work .
that leave nothing to do .
i cant sit still for long and i go nuts if i cant train so this winter is hard and i still have a month odd leaft of it !! and sugestions?
and when you get sick (flu or cold small like that) should you still train?
did bruce train when he had a minor illness???
I understand that cycling is cold, but try to wear sweat clother under a hot jacket and maybe even an extra pants (and gloves, maybe bonnet). Then you shouldn't have too cold (except when it snows...)
Running should be fun in the cold! i run always at evening here, when there is a cold wind. Not as cold as in australia now, but im t-shirt and short it is not too warm. So a long training pants and pullover should be not too cold while running.
The bag... I can't think of a solution. Maybe try to find a place in the house?
And about the illness, i would realy like to know that too...
you are game to run and stuff in the cold buddy!!!
i supose you are more used to it there considering when you have winter you really have winter!
so when you run tell me how you breath deep shallow what??
i used to run like 4 laps of my oval near our house.
but i am near the beach it gets really really windy!
is it how fast you go that is the key ot how far????
with the sick thing yeah it interests me as i have a cold at this moment lol and latle i have been digging for energy ....
It's not too cold here either. About -2°C. here most times in winter. And not too far from the beach here too, i go run in the open, there's a lot of wind here too.
I actually go run on a cycling route, there are signs every km, so i know how much i have done. The key is not too run long, not to run fast, but to run a lot!
And about the breath: just try to keep running and breathing! You will get a feeling of it after some time.
