Hello Everyone!

I would like to announce that the long awaited book, Understanding Jeet Kune Do, written by my longtime friend, student, and HJKDCGFA Instructor Jason P. Korol, is now available for everyone to own! To order the book, go to WWW.PROMETHEAN-PRESS.COM , or you can wait until it is available on the upcoming new Hardcore Jeet Kune Do website. I would suggest that you go ahead and order now, as this is an awesome book, and something that everyone that is even remotely interested in Jeet Kune Do should read ASAP!

The other new book that is available for order is Jeet Kune Do Basics, by my good friend and fellow JKD Instructor, Mr. David Cheng. David has written an awesome book that explains how to get off to an excellent start in training basic Jeet Kune Do skills as taught by the late Bruce Lee. This is an important literary work that every Jeet Kune Do practitioner should own! I got mine from www.amazon.com . Order yours today! You'll be glad that you did!

Keep Blasting!

I've already fully read JKD Basics.

Basically a book full of useful information(for basics), but lacks any pictures whatsoever to help with newbies. Which is kind of odd, since it seems geared toward the new student of JKD. However where other books are loaded with pictures and no ryhme or reason for them, this book will give the why, when etc.. to those pictures.

I feel this is a great book for the basics, but it can't be the only book you could own on the basics due to the lack of pictures! I'd suggest getting this book and Bruce Lee's fighting method books for the pictures.

These books sound rather great for basic techniques. After the HIT I would take (my rating from the examinations were good, i hope on some sponsoring, so I think i can make it), i am planning to buy some books on techniques, maybe those are the most useful ones to start with?

JKD book by Jason Korol

Hi Lamar
I have just read the book by Jason Korol and its a really interesting read. The book has some in depth insights into the martial art and the thinking behind it.I don't necessarily agree with the socio political stance taken by the author at times, the Irish have had a few political issues over the years and nothing is ever clear cut in political analysis !
Nevertheless I enjoyed reading the book.
Martin
