This past weekend was the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame Event in Orlando Fl. What a great event. It was well worth the money I spent. I got to work with Richard Ryan, Dana Abbott, and Walt Lysak among others. Thanks for encouraging me to go Sifu Davis I only wish you were able to attend so taht I could have had a chance to work with you. Anyway I just wanted to let everybody know what a great event this was

what did you do ???

I worked with richard ryan on using his shield technique for Close Quarters & I got a sword fighting lesson from Dana Abott. Also Walt Lysak was there to go over some fighting tactics for ground fighting in the street which is different than what you see in the UFC or other Mixed Martial Arts Events. All these guys are top notch Martial Artists. I can see why Sifu Davis chose to associate himself with them because even though their approaches to fighting were different they were still all valid and based on reality just like what we do for JKD. In fact a lot of it was very similar. It was a great learning expirience.
