Bruce Lee could have had several meanings for that statement! He could have been talking about mental, physical or even psychological! I believe this means that you must strive to release all pre-conceived notions of what "should be" so that you can simply see "what is", if that makes sense to you! In other words, it is only when you can see something for exactly what it is that you can fully understand it! Ignorance is when you simply choose to ignore something (pretend that it does not exist) rather than striving to understand it! In your research of Jeet Kune Do, leave no stone unturned so you can unlock the secrets of this art! I have always said read, research, set goals, train and GROW CONSTANTLY! My growth process is ongoing and always will be!

Hello Dani!

The important thing is that YOU know who you are! It doesn't matter what anyone else says or does. If you know different, then so be it! Nothing that anyone says can physically change you in any way! Yes, the best thing to do is ignore anyone that tries to cause you trouble! Then, if the time comes when it is unavoidable, just do whatever comes natural to you! I know there are times on these discussion forums where others have tried to cut me down in some way. I guarantee you that if they were standing right in front of me they wouldn't be saying those things because they know they would suddenly find themselves on their butts ..... or worse! LOL Talk is cheap, and actions speak way louder than words!

Happens here too. Big mouth to the group i'm standing in but when i go to them they run like chickens. Have your concentration on your thoughts or something else and just ignore them. The only thing they can do about that is come closer and do something physically to you, but i don't think they will try that
