the DVDs are in NTCS format...What does that mean? ^^

All DVDs and VHS tapes have region codes. The United States and Canada are Region 1. The UK is Region 2, and so on and so on! NTSC is the recording/playback format for the United States. In order to watch these DVDs in a foreign country, you must have a Region Free DVD player, which means it will play DVDs with any region code. I have one myself and it was a fantastic investment! Not very expensive at all either (less than $100.00)!
