Hello Everyone!

I wanted to let you all know that I just picked up the second book in "The Dragon and the Tiger" series, which was just released! I started reading it and couldn't put it down! In fact, I started last night and will actually finish the book tonight! An excellent book, and I highly recommend it to anyone that is interested in the evolution of Bruce Lee's fighting art! Ironically, I had not taken time to completely read the first book, and now I am anxious to get started on it! I'll probably start it either late tonight or tomorrow sometime. I'll give a more in depth report on Volume 1 after reading it! As for Volume 2, all I can say is GO GET IT!!!!!

How close are they to the truth? I heard that they aren't that close to the history of Bruce Lee or JKD.

Very Close!

Jason!

Don't believe everything that others say! Read for your self and you will definitely be impressed! The authors spent over twenty years putting the material together for these books, and they have interviewed hundreds of people to get the facts, as well as cross referenced everything to letters and notes written personally by Bruce Lee and James Yimm Lee! Plus, Greglon Lee, James Lee's son, is one of the authors of the book! He has access to all kinds of materials that others do not! I am about half way through Volume 1 right now, and will definitely finish it later tonight! It is awesome! BUY THE BOOKS! There are three more volumes coming out, so there is much more great stuff on the way! You know that I am somewhat of a Bruce Lee historian myself, and I haven't seen any innaccuracies whatsoever, and that is saying A LOT coming from me!

A LONG, LONG Time Ago, When Dinosaurs Roamed ................

Wait a minute! That's another story! LOL I actually started training in martial arts when I was ten years old. It was Bruce Lee playing Kato on the Green Hornet that actually inspired me to seek out Jeet Kune Do training! I started actively training in Jun Fan Gung Fu when I was twenty years old. As of August of this year I will have thirty-eight years in the martial arts, and twenty-eight years in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do! Man, I'm OLD! NOT! LOL

Dragon and Tiger Series

February 10 2005, 7:05 PM

Hi Dani!

The Dragon and Tiger books are written by Sid Campbell and Greglon Yimm Lee (James Yimm Lee's aon). I have read both books cover to cover now, and can say that both of them are excellent! I highly rcommend them to anyone that wants to learn more about Bruce Lee and an otherwise pretty much undocumented era of his life!
