| Hey Sifu Davis,
Although I know JKD is for street fighting, how do you think JKD would fare in competition? I have a friend who had trained JKD in Japan (he says they have a large following there). He trained JKD for 5 years and entered amateur kickboxing competitions in Japan and did very well. What do you think? Is there a possiblity for JKD people to become big competitors in the future?

Just my oppinion...i think you can apply jkd to anything you put your mind too....even to driving your car,playing football,baseball,running,bettering yourself in a job, etc etc.what you think? |

Yes I agree. When doing a lot of things, simple and to the point (economy of motion) is better.
