I am pleased to hear that you are doing well, and that Jeet Kune Do is becoming the MOST IMPORTANT ART in your training schedule! That shows me that you are really starting to think smart now, and you have realized some very important things! There is a world of difference between Jeet Kune Do and tae kwon do, which I'm sure you have noticed already! It is counterproductive to your JKD training to do all of the "wasted motion" movements of tae kwon do! In fact, it certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings if you got ALL of the tae kwon do movements out of your neuromuscular system and focused 100% on Jeet Kune Do! Then your body would not have to deal with internal conflict and mechanical confusion, and you would TRULY start to understand and feel the true benefits of the art and science of Jeet Kune Do! Keep training, Learning and growing! Most importantly keep up your faith in yourself and your abilities! Your martial journey has just begun! You will know what I'm saying when you reach the point where I am and you can view martial arts through eyes that have witnessed thirty-eight years of hard training! I often wish that NONE of my time had been spent on anything but Wing Chun Gung Fu, Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do! Trust me, you'll know what I mean one of these days!

Keep Blasting!

"Hit Hard, Hit Fast, Hit First - ALWAYS!"
"What is Jeet Kune Do (JKD)? Chinese martial art, definitely! It is a kind of Chinese martial art that does away with the distinction of branches, an art that rejects formality, an art that is liberated from tradition." __Bruce Lee
