Hi Jason! I would train the 15 year old like an adult. On the little kids, I have found that it is better to have something for them to work for so I took the curriculum and divided each level into three belt levels. (We know Belts are only good for holding up your pants, but the kids like it) and so do the parents! It depends on the kids too! Some are more mature and understand better. Above all, let them know and make them understand that this is only to protect and defend. You have to make them into little Heros, not predators. I know this was short , I hope it helps. Lance

Children's Program

Hello Jason!

Lance Webb and Mark Turquitt are the two main "Little Dragons" Instructors in the organization. I let them design their own programs! All I asked was that the make the teaching a bit more TAME (such as no eye jabs and groin smashing type stuff) so the chances of the kids getting in trouble for abusing the art would be lessened! By the way, a bully was picking on one of Mark's students at school and he just turned and knocked him out cold with a chung chuie to the nose! That's what I call results! Of course, Lance has already posted. Maybe Mark will add to the discussion!
