Well I'll probably hurt people's feelings, but I'm tired of so much bull**** being said by self agrandizing sifus. Let's see Jerry Poteet was at Bruce's six months if I remember correctly. Jim Sewell was there longer than most of the big mouth instructors and no one outside this forum know's him. And Lamar, although on the right path is a johnny come lately to certification under another guy that doesn't know anything. Although, I would say Lamar understands JKD better than most, his arrogance and self promotion gets him to say things which are ridiculous like " he and Bob are the only ones that know it." What? uhhm, who has been training with Bob for over fifteen years? Not Lamar, but plenty of other people have. The guy who has taken the ball with the Biu jee and run with it (I simply mean he worked the hell out of it,) is Brent Lance. Right now he's got the best one I've seen. Anyone can do it great( I had fifteen years) but it all boils down to practice.

That is balogna. What kind of person can even try saying that? If you're a true JKD practitioner, what tells you that you are better than another and know more than another? Unless, of course, you know the person and you train with him/her frequently. That guy is as my grandfather would say, "Full of brown."

That is one reason that I rarely ever go to that forum! There are so many people on there who say so much crap that it just makes me mad! Like the statements made by this individual, whoever it was. I have never made any statement such as what he said regarding me and, I assume, Bob Bremer! In fact, if you would email me a direct link to that post, I would like to go to their forum and comment on it! As for my certifications, I am certified as a Full Instructor by FIVE of Bruce Lee's original students, and NONE of those certifications were "lately", and all of those who certified me are the real deal! People should just keep their mouths shut when they don't know what they are talking about!

Thanks again for bringing this to my attention! I went to the forum and posted a response which should hopefully solve any issues regarding what I did or didn't say! I too am sick and tired of people trying to start crap and being disrespectful toward those of us who have spent a lifetime learning everything possible about this art! Maybe one of these days people will grow up and this kind of thing will stop! We can hope so anyway, right?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that you are the real deal. I've seen alot of so-called JKD men and until I got a hold of your dvds some of the techniques that they were demonstrating were hard to understand, but you break it down so that a average martial artist like me can live his dream of learning and understanding Bruce Lee teachings. So don't let idiots like that guy (whoever he is) get to you because I bet if he stood in front of you it would be a different story.

He simply reacted off faulty information that someone had fed him! Once I told him the truth he was sorry for posting what he did! Everything is cleared up now!
